New Haven Primary School serves over 500 students in the New Haven attendance area in grades Pre-K through 2nd grade. We pride ourselves on our welcoming, safe, nurturing, environment for students, families and community. Our core curriculum, highly effective instructional staff, and high expectations for all students show our commitment to providing an educational environment wherein students flourish.
New Haven Primary utilizes the Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports (PBIS) framework to provide a safe and productive learning environment for our students. PBIS is a proactive approach to teaching and supporting positive behavior in students. Behavioral expectations are clearly defined, taught, and practiced. Students are consistently acknowledged and rewarded for appropriate behavior. Under this PBIS umbrella, instructional time is more effective to teaching, and the school climate is more conducive to learning.

WE DO OUR BULLDOG BEST!
At the Tuesday board meeting, the EACS school board approved a new district
calendar. Click below to see the PDF. The noted change to the calendar is that
President's Day is now officially a day off. Any closings this year will be
e-Learning days from the very beginning! Last night was our e-Learning practice
day. Be sure to turn in your checklist to your child's teacher verifying you
can access everything for an e-Learning Day! Thank you!
Revised School Calendar 16-17
Planning a family vacation during our school year?
Please contact your child's teacher or our school office for a vacation form.
Without a completed vacation form, our school will attempt to contact you for each day your child is absent and it will be marked as an unexcused absence.
Each teacher should have given out instructions on how to log into your child's eLearning work. If you have misplaced this paperwork, please follow the link for general information. You are able to contact your child's teacher via email on eLearning days from 9:00-3:00 with any questions, including usernames and passwords for students.
As always, NHP will have computer labs open for students who can not complete this work at home. Computer labs are open from 8-9am during the 5 school days following the eLearning day. Parents just need to walk their child into the school office and sign them in. School staff will be available to help students complete their work.
Please use the following link to view what supplies are needed for your child this school year.
